Calibration block V2 allows to:
- Calibrate the flaw detector sweep by sound velocity during operation with straight-beam probes;
- calibrate the flaw detector sweep by sound velocity during operation with angle-beam probes;
- set the conditionall sensitivity level of ultrasonic flaw detectors with straight- and angle-beam probes;
- determine the sound waves index point and x-value of angle-beam probes;
- determine the probe angle of sound waves in steel.
Specifications
- Longitudinal waves sound velocity in the calibration block material at frequency 5.0 MHz and temperature (20±5) 0 С equals (5920±30) m/s.
- Shear waves sound velocity in the block material at a frequency 5.0 MHz and temperature (20±5) 0 С equals (3255±15) m/s.
- Calibration block geometrical dimensions correspond to DSTU 4002-2000 (ISO 2400, DIN 54120, B. S. 2704).
