Resilient packaging for single rail trolleys transportation and storage!

A lot of products developed by the RPC “Ultracon-Service” cover hundreds and even thousands of kilometers before they reach the customer’s site. Transportation of the equipment is carried out by the overland or air transport. The equipment is thoroughly checked before shipment, and it is important for us to be totally sure that each device will be delivered to the customer in the same condition in which it left our site.

“Ultracon-Service” has a person in charge who cares about optimal containers, boxes, cases selection depending on the type of equipment being shipped. Some time ago, we managed to select an ultimate solution for transportation of the ultrasonic rail flaw detector UDS2-77. The box that you can see in the picture is convenient both for transportation and further storage of the trolley. It prevents the device from breaking, damaging any part of it, or losing any accessories, protects against dust and dirt ingress. Use of this type of storage case expands the UT trolley service life, thus enabling, if needed, to promptly deliver it to the site where testing is to be performed, no matter whether it is supposed to be indoor or on track.

Being protected with such a container, the UDS2-77 will fly over the ocean, cover kilometers of the road and, after the loading will be ready for operation. We recommend to storage the equipment in the container, even if it is constantly in use– as it’s the only reliable way to prevent any mechanical damages.
